    I just got a bottle from a friend (thanks!) of St. George 'sinthe ...

    it's the darkest-green colored sinthe i've yet seen/had ...
    Very powerful earthy herbal potion, it is ...... it leaves your tongue with that numb shimmery feeling/sensation which is always a good sign of good absinthe in my experience .....

    There is "stinging nettle" in this absinthe, something not found in other absinthes usually ... it adds a darker, more earthy taste, I think ....

    I would say that overall, this is the best 'Absinthe'(minus the thujone in real absinthe) that i've tried ....

    Anyone else had it ? What do you think ?

    It was on sale here, I guess, much less than the usual retail price of about $75 (too much in my opinion ) .

      Ive only tried 4 different kinds and St George is my fave so far. I want to try Marilyn Mansons "Mansinthe." I think anything over 30 bux is a total rip off. Like Vince Neils Tres Hombres tequilla. I love him and want to try it. But I'm not paying that price. Sorry. I would try Mansinthe once for a high price but probably wouldnt buy it regularly. If it's really good I might make a Mansinthe heist. : )

        I'd thought that Mansinthe would be a fad/novelty item and wasn't particularly looking forward to it.

        I was pleasantly surprised. Mansinthe is a solid entry.

            I read about a photoshoot Marilyn and the guys from Slayer and all these other guys were doing for their tour promo and it said Marilyn had a personal assistant whos sole purpose was to refill Marilyns glass of Mansinthe when it ran low. lol Were do I sign up for that job? I'd be sipping on some myself too.
